Mantra Therapy

The famous scientist, Dr. Moore Todeschini, who is more a mystic than a scientist, has given a very scientific explanation of the vibrations of both visible and invisible things in one of these articles on vibrations published in the “Health Movement Review”, Oct. 1955, edited by Dr. N. W. Walker. The learned doctor states that visible things are physical matter and physical matter is nothing more or less than invisible matter made gross, in other words, Thoughts are Things.

He further states that proof of this is in the sickness and disease. When a person thinks that a sudden pain is the precursor of a disease say Cancer, then by virtue of the vibrational effect of the mind and thought, a Cancer can readily develop. He has proved scientifically and mathematically that the type of the cells and tissues of the human and animal bodies has its own very definite rate of vibration when normal and healthy. Like-wise every known ailment or sickness has its own specific rate of vibration indicating the gravity or otherwise. So also every drug, every food, and every combination of these has its own definite rate of vibration.

Mantras are a cluster of letters or words. For example, “Hrim Strim Hum Phat” is a mantra with single letters and “Om Tare Tuttare Swaha” is a mantra with words. In Sanskrit there is a saying “Amantram Aksharam Naste” meaning there is not a single letter of the alphabet which is not a cosmic force. Thus it can be assumed that every letter is bristling with Cosmic power, and this power is known as “Prana-Sakti” (vital force) of the letter.

How does Mantra Therapy work ??

The Tantras deal with this aspect of the letters elaborately and determine their form, their power, their uses and their presiding deities. A word is nothing but a cluster of letters and the letters are the symbolic representation of the spoken words. It is therefore plausible that spoken words also have Cosmic force inherent in them; but this cannot be proved or demonstrated to a mind that is strictly materialistic or scientific. The Tantric know the use of the spoken words in every combination which they call Mantras and they can perform seemingly impossible feats with spoken mantras alone; but there is no instrument to show that these mantras possess Cosmic colours and Cosmic powers.

The case of written words is, however, different. If anyone writes on a plain paper a few letters or lines or geometrical figures or paints some scenery, and at the same time we examine these writings or paintings with a prism as they come out of his pencil, pen or brush, it can easily be detected that Cosmic colours are gathering from somewhere and surrounding the lines or letters, figures or scenes the moment they are written, and as a part of creation they show the colours which must be present in every creation. In other words, the moment they are created by writing or painting, they are connected with their roots in the universal Light Ocean, and in order to show this connection with the created letters, lines, etc., as nothing but condensations of Cosmic light, they manifest their luminous bodies with the quality, quantity, and arrangement of the Cosmic colours. These constitute the set of vibrations or wave-lengths, which never leave them until they are effaced, and the Cosmic light disappears.

The quality, quantity, and arrangement of Cosmic colours collectively represent the Prana Sakti or the Cosmic force resident in them, and these can be replaced by the process of radiation as advocated in Teletherapy. The Cosmic colours are omniscient, omnipotent and omnipresent.

How is Mantra Therapy beneficial for us?

The Mritasanjivani Mantra is one of the numerous Mantras, and the famous and most powerful and efficacious, Mahamrityunjaya Mantra is the best for disease and death, and this Mantra is found to be a good protective. The Gayatri is another powerful mantra. When these are combined in samputa, they form the great Mritasanjivani Mantra which should always be radiated to all, including serious patients. The direction of the Shastras is that if Mritasanjivani or the Mahamrityunjaya Mantra fails to effect a cure, it should be understood that life current is exhausted in the patient.

I must reiterate that in the Cosmic field, there is absolutely no difference between Name and Form. For instance, the word ASTHMA refers to a disease. The symptom is sitting up, coughing, hard breathing and so on. Similarly “ASTHMA CURE” is another Name but it refers to the Form of cure. Both the Name of the disease and the Form of cure have their origin in the rays of the rainbow. But when we analysed the vibrations of both the names, it is found that they are completely different. So whenever the curative vibrations are directed towards the patient of that disease, he started to recover gradually. Being a part of the Cosmic Light Ocean, the Cosmic colours released are omniscient, omnipotent and omnipresent, and therefore cure the patient’s disease.
